MONTHLY MEMBER SPOTLIGHT
Janet Mensen Reynolds
Janet Mensen Reynolds is enjoying “retirement" after 26 years in the Lyric Opera of Chicago chorus. While in the chorus she sang numerous small roles and understudied lots of maids, moms and Walküries. Janet made her concert debut at Carnegie Hall in 2013. She has a private voice studio of 25 students, a dog walking business, and is a frequent soloist with local orchestras and chorale groups. Janet and her daughter perform a concert every ear entitled "Our Favorite Things" where they sing favorite songs and duets and pick a different charity every year to donate the proceeds to. She loves spending time with her 3 dogs and husband. She will dedicate all future concert work to the memory of her dear mother who passed away in February of 2022.
