She served as a school board member for her local school district from 2007 through 2015 where she served as board secretary and chaired the strategic planning committee. She is also a 2009 graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Citizen’s Academy.
Beth loves to spend her free time making BBQ on one of her three smokers, spending time with her six adult children and husband Tony, camping and watching Marvel movies.
FUN FACTS ABOUT BETH:
Favorite Food: Anything cooked low and slow on a smoker
Favorite Movie: The Princess Bride
On Her Bucket List: Going to Prince Edward Island and seeing the Anne of Green Gables museum.
Favorite SAI Memory: The 2009 National Convention in Chicago. It was the last time the fraternity had a “local convention committee” comprised of Alumnae that lived in the area that was chosen to host convention. After 2009 everything was coordinated online to invite sisters from across the country to volunteer. In 2009 we had a great group of sisters from Gamma A and Gamma B provinces working very hard on so many aspects of that convention from registration to decor. It was the most gratifying fraternity experience I have ever had and I solidified some beautiful friendships through that experience.
