Oak Park Alumnae Scholarships

The Oak Park Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota currently offers two different scholarship opportunities for music students in middle school and one for high school students.

38th Annual Elsie Sterrenberg String Scholarship Competition

Cash prizes for both a senior and junior division winner

Any violin, viola, cello or string bass student in grades 4 through 8 for the junior division or grades 9 through 12 for the senior division are eligible to apply. Awards are $500 cash for the senior division and $300 cash for the junior division. A $20 application fee will apply. The competition takes place on April 27, 2024. Mabel Biever Summer Music Camp Scholarship

Providing $300 toward summer music camp tuition for a middle school student
